You Can Now Publish Pinterest Pins Directly in Canva

Canva users can now publish Pinterest Pins directly from their creative studio in Canva!

A new feature in Canva allows users to post their Pinterest pins directly to Pinterest

To utilize this feature, users should choose the Pinterest pin template from the Canva template library. The template is set with the standard dimensions that are optimized for Pinterest.

Users can create pins in the Canva creative studio and when done, choose to publish directly to their Pinterest account (you will need to link the two accounts by authorizing Canva to post on your behalf, this does require being signed into Pinterest in the account you’d like to post on behalf of).

Once user’s have created their pin, they should choose “Publish to Pinterest” which will then open into a dropdown box that allows them to choose the board to publish to, the title of the pin, excerpt, destination link and when they would like to publish the post (scheduling feature).

You can indicate to Canva which page of your design you would like to publish to Pinterest. Be sure to fill in the description box, as well as the destination website link.

You can now schedule when you would like the Pinterest pin to be posted to your board — you can choose the date and time by clicking the calendar button in the left hand corner of the dropdown box — finalize your decisions by choosing the purple “done” button.

Now that your pin’s details have been gilled out, you can choose to schedule the post or publish immediately to your Pinterest account.

And you’re pin is now scheduled or live!
